The bike route (22.82km) will head out from the Corrib Village Students accommodation and head towards Moycullen – With the introduction of the new bypass, this makes for s great cycle route. At the end of the bypass, you will turn around at the roundabout and head back towards the transition area inside Corrib Village
Roads will remain open to traffic for the event. Competitors should obey the rules of the road and exercise due caution when presented with a hazard. Instructions from Gardai and marshals must be followed. Competitors deemed to be cycling dangerously or without consideration to others will be disqualified or penalised by race marshals. Medical services (ambulance) will be in attendance on the day - This is a NON drafting event.
Once you have finished the bike, you will head off on your 5km run through the grounds of the University of Galway and Past Kingfisher Fitness Club – You will then head along the banks of the Corrib, past the transition and then around the rugby fields before heading back along the banks of the Corrib and to the finish!
