TRIBESMAN TRIATHLON 2026

Thank You for an Incredible Race Day. What a day for the Tribesman Triathlon.

The Galway sun made a rare and very welcome appearance as athletes took on the River Corrib, the Moycullen bike course, and the University of Galway run route on Sunday, June 14th, 2026. A huge thank you to every athlete who raced, every volunteer who gave their time, the event organising team, and the University of Galway for their support in helping us deliver the event.

The 2026 race formed part of the Triathlon Ireland National Series and once again hosted the Intervarsity National Championships.

We hope everyone who took part enjoyed the new transition area, single-direction run course, larger finish area, post-race food, music, and race-day atmosphere.

• The swim caps arrived four days later.

LOOKING AHEAD TO 2027

The Tribesman Triathlon will return on Sunday, June 13th, 2027.

Planning is already under way, and details on entries, the course, and the event format will be published once confirmed.

Thank you again to everyone who made Tribesman 2026 possible. We hope to welcome you back to Galway in 2027.
